OIL Filter Study.......(Why Fram filter's suck ass)

I knew NAPA golds were Wix. I'd always recommend them at the oil change to 'vetts, mustangs, camaros, etc and people would look at me like I was nuts I was suggesting something other than Pennzoil

You don't need a study. Run a fram and cut it open when you change your oil, you won't run one again. My K&N looked pretty good when I opened it up.

Are you basing your judgments on the lack of shavings or the absence of shavings?

No, when I cut open a fram before its like there was no filter left. It looked like a big wad of paper tower inside the housing. Whenever I've cut open a K&N it looks pretty decent. I know it's just an expensive rebranded filter, but I do like the spot for a socket on the end. :D
