No turning back now.......

I like doing that too but its a little more dramatic when you have a big ol payment attatched to the car (not saying smooth does or doesnt). Now tearing apart someone elses car in your garage- thats a blast. hahaha
lol give me your 04 ill tare it down for fun lol i joke

It's not that bad, there is a method to the madness....just label every nut/bolt per location and it's like taking apart a puzzle then putting it back together in reverse order :)

I usually start at the front cover, hood, fenders, then move to the driver door because it has the most wiring, then pass door, decklid, rear cover. Then I usually spray body first and everything else in reverse order so I don't have painted parts laying around.

Then I had to choose my weapon.....

Only the best materials of course.....

Basecoat only, waterborne 90 line 2 cts, 5 min flash....done

Clear - 2 coats, wet...just how I like it

But the haters say "Jason anyone can laydown some clear on a horizontal panel"

Me -"Yeah but can you hang 3 mils of clear on a vertical panel in 2 coats?"....yes I can bitches, they don't call me 2 smooth for nothing ;) (this is the side of my front cover hanging vertical on a stand)

Trust me. I wouldn't be going through all the trouble I'm going through right now if I didn't enjoy doing what I did so far. Lol. My garage is almost ready.

Now that is how paint is supposed to look! Damn near free of any orange peel. Going to look like glass when done...nice!
