Surprised this didn't get posted here. Apparently the new Z06 has significant heat soak issues.

Pretty disappointing... It's strange that GM would let the car go to production with an issue like this.
At the end of the day it is a street car, but you don't hear of this issue with the new Z/28. With no plans for another flagship car until the Zora, it's not clear why they didn't correct this and just up the price accordingly. People would have gladly paid it, and they wouldn't have all this internet chatter which will undoubtedly cost them sales and tarnish the image of what is otherwise the best Vette yet.
I'd like to see some more cars in people's hands and real world results in Mexico and on the tracks before making my mind up on this one.
