I figured with the other project threads, I should post mine up.

Here is the truck, a 94 Z71 that i bought for $450, no rust, cracked block(and bad fuel pump, and bad window regulator, and cracked radiator, lol).

Heads go on tomorrow

Engine is still on the stand, but I should be dropping it in this weekend if i have the time and ambition.

it will get a converter when the trans gets overhauled, and gears if needed, I'll see how fun it is first(has 3.42s now)

I have not decided which way to go once its running, but I am leaning towards dropping it.

That is awesome! I wouldn't drop it, you already have a low machine to cruise! I'd say go a few inches higher, bigger meats on new wheels, and a re-gear. I like it!

i want to do a SFA swap and get mine SKY HIGH already. :shake: i need a better paying job.

nice project btw. my uncle had the same truck(color and all) with like 250k on the clock and still used it for work every day.

not like its hard to raise back up, I think i will lower it with drop keys and a axle flip in the back, all bolt on, under $200

Do it.

I wish they had a good lowering kit when I first leased my truck. The next leased 4x4 is getting brought down a few inchs!

heads and intake are on

I still need to polish the valve covers, so they are not bolted down yet

don't hate the exhaust manifolds, they are temporary till I can afford headers and exhaust
