Build thread on my 91 LX 5.0 Convertible..

I read the CL ad. Nice job scratching the hood LOL. Just curious what kind of power was that combo putting out?

Its a pin-on and my dumb ass forgot to put the pins in..Was lucky because around 20mph,it flew over the car without touching it and landed on the top right in the middle of the road..People were cool and blocked both lanes and turn lane so I could backup and get it..I did feel like a total idiot lol...Not sure on power ..Had Trickflow heads on it but took them off due to bad seals and few guides..Buddy give me a set of ported 351W heads that had a few hundred miles so put them on and sold the car a few weeks later when I found the convertible..If I had to guess,I would say 270ish RWHP with the Trickflows and 230ish with the ported 351W heads..Could really feel the power difference between the heads and the Trickflows were never touched..

Guy that had the convertible built took it to a dyno day at Lidios and made 270RWHP with the crappy short block that was in it and no tuning at all..Hope I get close to 450/475 RWHP with the bottle,should be fun..
