Right, MOST wont. We had a vandalized vehicle that we requested be finger printed in Allen Park, and they advised that "this isnt CSI" We were willing to pay for these services also.

right My truck was stolen they didnt care until blood was found ill put it plain and simple
COPS DONT CARE ABOUT PROPERTY CRIMES
they are considered victimless crimes
truck was stolen cops told me to come to station to file report, watched neighbors house being broken into 30 minutes to respond, lived on a designated fire route "no parking" 7 cars parked on street police told me I would have to sign the ticket. drove 275 to work one day 5 cops shooting radar, to serve and protect my ass more like to generate $$$$, Li

We have the same discussion when i had a large group ok kids fighting first time I called cops showed up 20-30 min later
2nd time i said looks like theres a gun 2 departments showed

Whether they are victimless or not there are a lot of departments that do fingerprint when a vehicle is recovered.
Don't lump all cops and all departments into what your experience has been.
I'm sorry you have such a negative view of law enforcement. I work with Officers everyday and have been involved in law enforcement on some level for over 20 years. Most Officers want to help people and protect citizens. They also have a job to do and that involves enforcing the law.
Guess you weren't concerned about your house catching fire since you don't think a fire route is a big deal.

I called the cops because of the cars parked there , the officer told me I would have to sign the ticket, I told him "do your fucking job" next call was fire department Chief showed up and cars were towed within 20 minutes

Ah...I get it. Like I said...just try and not group all cops and all departments into one. There are many, many good officers and departments out there. Unfortunately just like everything else...there are idiots out there.
