Glad you got it back. Make sure you contact the Police department where it got stolen so they can remove it from LEIN. Detroit should have done that when it was recovered, but obviously they didn't even respond. If you don't have it removed from LEIN you will get pulled over because it will come back stolen when the plate is run.

Just to save you the trouble of being stopped and called out of the car in a felony stop only to have them realize it is the registered owner

Since it was stolen in Westland, wouldn't that department fingerprint/follow-up? Or is it now DPD because that's where it was found?

They fingerprinted our trailer when it was broken into a year or two ago. Granted it was Livonia, but still I figured maybe Westland would do the same if it falls under their jurisdiction.

I personally know him :lol: I served in the military with him. He still gets shit about it as we keep showing new people the video. The store owner at the time just put in a new camera and had him try it out. You can see him wave his hand at the owner like I'm not going to keep dancing.
