My next phone...

Pre-ordered mine on Friday night. I'm leaving town on the 4th right after work so I had to pre-order at the Best Buy in Brighton

I thought i read that the EVo was going to cost $449 outright. I just signed with Sprint a few months back and will have to pay full price if I decide to go with it. I started with a Blackberry Curve, and recently switched to a Samsung Moment. The 2.1 update came out for the Moment the other day too.

The Sprint navigation on the Moment sucks balls. If the EVO's works as good as it did on my Crackberry, i'll switch.

i got an e mail from sprint saying 200 after a 100 mail in rebate

The built in Google Maps Nav kicks ass, use that.

I tried Google Nav. It also does not work well on the Moment. I think the problem is the GPS reciever in the phone itself. When driving down the freeway it usually thinks i'm on the service drive or a cross street. Constantly losing GPS signal and re-routing. I need to have the phone on the dashboard, looking up through the windshield to even work half ass. Throw it in the cupholder?......forget about it.

My Blackberry would navigate in my basement.

I'm going to call Best Buy and Radio Shack this morning to find out the cost to buy one outright, since I just signed with Sprint a few months ago.

Radio Shack says $500 for the phone outright. Best Buy says they have no outright price yet, but to expect to pay $600-$700!!!!!!

one word respect, actually sprint shipped me a touch pro 2 early because ive been with them forever and I have had alot of htc phones and alot of trouble. I didnt want to change my plan so I passed on the evo

Anyone waiting in line? The Sprint place I drive by on the way to work didn't have anyone waiting. They were bragging about having to wait in line to get one last week!

What do you mean the whole state? Are you on crack? Sprint 4G will not even come close to the coverage of AT&T HSPA+ anytime soon.

Is that something like how I can stand in the ATT store in Kalamazoo with my Sprint phone and have a great 3G signal while there is no ATT 3G there? Sprint already has most of PA done and most of TX done with 4G. Aggresively expanding the 4G network. By the beginning of 2011 Sprint 4G will probably have better coverage than ATT 3G
