Turbo's love low gearing.. My guess is 575 @ the tires when dialed in
That would be cool, but we'll see.... I only have 4lb wastegates and a manual controller, so I might see 7lbs. That, and the engine is TIRED!!! It's been together for a long time. I did throw rings in it and hone it when I was restoring the car a few years ago because it was out. I just want to drive it at this point. I'm actually heading out to the garage right now to fire it up for the first time since last fall.

Yeah, I think that's about where I'm at. I could toss a seat in and take it around the block, but I haven't painted my cold side tubing yet, so no beating on it. I might just get it powdercoated, I'm tired of working on it, but don't want to spend the cash. And I don't want to put the seats in until I'm done under the dash. I'm fighting my brakes right now. Pedal feels really spongy, I think my adjustable prop valve is no good. It squeaks when I hit the brakes, like there's air trapped in it. Weird.

I just finished painting my grille and headlight bezels. I still need to prep and paint the front bumper though. Oh, i still have the
hood and scoop to paint also. As soon as the grille and all that is on i will get the front end aligned. I will probably start driving it before the hood is finished though. I need to put some miles on it before i start beating on it.

Started running some vacuum lines. I never liked the way it looked with all rubber lines, so I'm bending some up out of steel. I ran out of hard line, so this is all for tonight. Tryin to get it done for the bearing burners show Sunday. My shop is setting up a booth in the vendors midway and my boss asked if I could bring my car.
Also, I have a heat shield for the master cylinder, just haven't installed it yet......

Got all the vacuum & boost controller lines ran. Took it out to Woodward Friday and made some laps. It runs good, I have the boost dialed back to 4 lbs right now, and I still haven't floored the car yet, but I'm pretty happy with it. Cant wait to get it on the dyno for a final tune and be able to turn it up to 8 or 9.

WOW!! I love boost! As some of you know, I've been fighting some issues with my carb, to the point where I couldn't really hammer on it. Well, I got most of the bugs out, I have a wideband in it, and holy shit! It's no rocket ship, but damn, I'm pretty happy. Gonna do some more road tuning to make sure everythings in the ballpark, then its back to the dyno. Before the turbos, this engine (383) made 370hp/400ft lbs to the tires on pump gas with different h/c/I, and it feels a lot better now. But, who knows. We'll find out soon enough. Gonna get it back on the dyno in a week or so.

Yes! I'm gonna go lean on it tonight and see where things are at, but I'm sure there's still some problems I don't know about. It's been an uphill battle, but I'm gonna win the war.
