Thanks again! I've been busy this week, and the brakes are now done. I started with the stock pedal assembly, by removing the clutch pedal and trimming off all the extra material, then welding a brace across to act as a pedal travel stop to prevent the pushrod from pulling out of the master cylinder. It started out at 8 lbs, and is now 2.8 lbs.
The Strange master cylinder went in easily. I was worried about the stories I had read about the front outlet port being too close to the LF strut tower, but I had no problems. I added a bulkhead fitting to run the front brake line down to the outer frame rail.
The Hurst line lock mounted to the LF frame rail, and was used to tee the left and right front brake lines, as well as a pressure port for the brake lamp switch.
The right front brake line was ran forward and under the radiator support to help keep the firewall clean looking.
These pics show rear brake line routing back along the driver's frame rail to the rear axle using 3an bulkheads, and the stainless braided hoses on the rear axle housing.
I'm very pleased with how all this worked out, since it is one of the most tedious jobs I had to do besides the upcoming wiring job. Next I'll get the radiator mounts done and set the motor/trans in to finish routing fuel and oil lines. Gotta' keep at it!
