MD Not complying with township on noise ordinances

It could be possible that if MD submitted the schedule on time and spent the time to go in front of the committee they'd probably see rejection and or multiple requests to alter the schedule.... when that just can't be allowed because of the severity of planning. Ask for forgiveness later.

I can see both sides of the story. But what's left open for interpretation is any history between MD and the township. Obviously, the dragway didn't get built yesterday so imo people complaining about noise can shove it. My dad lives about 300 yards passed the big end and you can BARELY hear cars in the house. Now then there's the other side, MD needs to be on good terms with the township otherwise they say shit it down and its a wrap.

Miland was established as a city in the 1831, and incorporated into a city in 1967.
The citys charter spells out ordances pertaining to noise

If, and only if the business was established before 1967, then they have some exemption to ordanances adapted after 1967.
I highly doubt Miland Dragway (I could be wrong) is operating under the same business licence issued by the state as when they established their business.

Milan isn't the jurisdiction they are dealing with, it is London township as was clearly stated in the OP. Not sure how much difference that meks in the end, but I'm sure it changes thigns somewhat

Having talked with a couple former employees and a board member in london, in the last few months, I can say that the ownership hasn't been in good standing with london twp for quite awhile.

There's a lot of information about this and other situations involving the track management if you talk to the right people.

He's on 5 acres, over 4 is deeply wooded. In the yard you can hear them, in the house you could but its not enough to distract any normal lifestyle...

When I originally posted this, I found a new posting
icon on the MM list. It was a small photo of a guy, a
dog & a lady.

It was a photo taken outside. It was very unusual to see
something like that listed (a photo, not a cartoon) so I
posted the photo & asked “what is this all about?”

The next time I checked my posting about this, the photo
had now been replaced with the posting icon of the
cartoon drinking. ( :icon_drin ).

So I was wondering simply what had happened?
What was the story behind the “family photo”
that disappeared?

I was thinking. The small photo was “live” on
the posting, but then disappeared.
