I NEVER said they didnt, just never seen it before. I told you I am new to this hobby. I learn something new everyday.

But I found this here

http://www.powerheads.com/e7heads.html

Strange they don't show a E7 head with 2.02 valves.

Engine:
91 Roller Block, Stock Bore
Forged Pistons 10:1 These are suppose to be stock, but Ford never had a 10:1 piston in a roller motor. Where the heads milled? How do you know the compression?
Reconditioned, Polished, stock rods w/ARP bolts
Micropolished Stock Crankshaft w/ modified oil passages.
Clevite "H" Bearings (Main and Rod)
Melling Oil Pump w/ ARP shaft
SFI Balancer and Flexplate
Crower stage 3 Roller Cam
Ford Racing Roller Lifters
ARP Head Studs
All Fel Pro Gaskets (Head, Intake, 1 piece oil pan, front cover and water pump set, front and rear seals)
Comp Cams Hardened Pushrods
Cloyes Double Roller Timing set w/ steel gears
Edelbrock Water Pump
CNC Ported Heads 2.02 1.60 Stainless vavles (New seals, valves, Comp 987 Dual Springs, Comp Retainers and locks, machined for screw in studs and guide plates)Something isn't right here.
Harland Sharp Rocker Arms (1.6)
Black Ford Racing Valve Covers w/ K&N Breathers
All ARP Fastners (Intake, Oil Pan, Front Cover, Valve Cover Studs)
Victor Jr Intake
NEW Proform 750 Carb w/billet base plate and metering blocks

The car has a digital 6 ignition box, do these not come with a soft touch rev limiter?

I think it was set around 6600 or 6800 I think not sure. I never touched it. Roushtech said it was there when we talked.

Just looked at the picture of the valves in the first post. If they had 2.02/1.60 valves they would almost be touching.

Powerheads

We have built literally thousands of CNC ported factory cast iron heads for over 10 years. POWERHEADS have been featured in many high performance magazine articles, and for good reason . . . THEY MAKE HORSEPOWER. Do not under estimate a good set of ported factory castings. POWERHEADS provide exceptional low end throttle response and great mid/top end power as well. If you want the original Ford castings and demand the finest workmanship, POWERHEADS will build you the best performing heads. . .

*Customer to provide heads or a $200 core charge will be applied*

ALL E7 5.0 HEADS INCLUDE COMPETITON CNC PORTING, SOLID BRONZE GUIDES, 5 ANGLE MACHINED SEATS, 1.90’’x 1.60’’ FORGED SS SWIRL POLISHED VALVES, .530’’ LIFT SINGLE VALVE SPRINGS WITH CM RETAINERS AND VITON OIL SEALS. PROFESSIONALLY ASSEMBLED AND VACUUM TESTED TO ENSURE VALVE SEAT INTEGRITY.

570’’ LIFT DUAL SPRINGS = $65 10 degree TITANIUM RETAINERS = $90
CUSTOM VALVE SPRINGS = CALL WIRE LOCK RECEIVER GROOVES = $120
SCREW-IN STUDS WITH GUIDE PLATES = $150

Looks like they have 1.90 x 1.60 on their web site. Can't find any info on a 2.02

what does any of this have to do with you droping a valve...stuff happens..sorry that it happened...end of story

Oh I guess you would have said the same thing if it happened to you?

First off the ad for the car was WRONG. That leads to other questions. I guess you wouldn't care though right? :jagoff:

Just Help

All I need is someone to come over and tell me what I need. This is my first Ford that is why I bought it. It was a T/K car and sounded like it was a nice car and what I was looking for a first. Now anyone in the area that can come over and take a look would be a great help. I am south of 10 Mile and west of Gratiot.

You need to pull the engine first. Now we need to figure why it happened. Get the springs tested make sure they are good, check the cam and make sure it is what was listed. Depending on your cash you can easily fix it as long as the block isnt damaged. You need a pistons, need to check the rod. Thats a start.

I got a engine hoist you can borrow. And a engine stand. I can also get 20 % off the gaskets and parts that you can get from Murray's if that will help any ?
