Help me finger

I have a Samsung smart TV. Sony Blu-ray player, comcrap cable .

Router is hard wired to Blu-ray, through the tv I get 0.6mbps
At the same time I get 25mbps wirelessly through my phone and Ipad...... Wtf! I bought a new n900 router today and tried swapping it and Nothing changed. Tried switching the tv to wireless and it's still 0.7mbps. Wtf?

Is the tv fucked?
Is the Blu-ray fucked?

Cause I know I'm fucked! Can't watch Netflix without it freezing every 2min

You dont have an app on your tv for netflix? That way you wire up the tv and use the tv for netflix and nothing else.

I have a Sony BDP-BX18 Blu-ray player in my bedroom and Netflix is always hit or miss. Sometimes it will stream fine and other times it does the same shit. I'll get under 1mbs on Netflix and then 15mbs+ when I use my Amazon prime. Pretty sure it's either the app used on the Sony players or the players themselves. Mine is hardwired too.

What happens when you plug another PC or laptop into the router (hard wired) and do a speed test?
What happens when you do that using the same network cable and port as is connected to the BR player?
How are you doing a speed test from the BR player? It has a speed test app?

It's probably your BR player, but hard to tell w/o those answers.

I have seen this before.. I am no help.. but it is usually the blue ray player.. have seen some TVs that don't get the speed that a computer gets.. they will get less than 1mbps.. seen it with brand new $2000 smart TVs right out of the box.

I will perform those tests when I get home from work today.

Little more info .......

When everything was first set up. 2 years ago.
New TV, new BR, Xfinity, surround sound and subscription to Netflix.....

Netflix download speed was 24/26mbps. When Netflix loads, it shows connection speed on the screen.

Worked fine up until a month ago, maybe 6 weeks.
