I know for 100% fact that I've heard that excuse many times while driving cars that have been long legal and with the correct plates.

Everyone that doesn't understand what has happened here, and why it is bad, is a fucking moron.

X100. He got stopped because his updated registration wasn't in the system yet, and that is bad because we pay enough taxes so that the state should have all their computers updated instantly, thus saving us from all sorts of 'harassment'. Anyone who doesn't understand that, is a....

There was enough room for the cop to still get in front of me and run his plate. He was in an Avalanche, i was in a Mustang. You're just giving the cop excuses, man.

I don't exaggerate, it's pointless. I've had things happen to me before, this is definitely NOT the first time. I've had a cop, same street/area, hop around the turn around (I was going South he was going north) and chase me down and pull me over. Was I doing anything? No. Am I exaggerating, no. This is only one incident, so when I say the cop darted from a side street i'm not BS'n. I ALWAYS check my rear view mirror (Prob every 15 sec) and there was no one behind me then I saw him come out of the sub. I was on the phone with Dan (the guy in front of me) as all this happened, telling him about the cop i saw and what not. I was using a Hands free headset of course, just in case anyone wants to say i was texting while driving.
 
Personally, I'd see it as a benefit during this time of year.... WDC is an event for prime pickings and if they (cops) overlooked anything with slight suspiciousness people might b e losing there investments/hobbies more often. It's during the regular year that is a bunch of crock.



PS: my most recent buddies supposed to be DD car was stolen and it had a broekn side window, out tail lamp and one headlight searching for squirls.... I'll say one thing, if a cop overlooked that car after seeing it going down Gratiot at around 4am, then that police officer needs to be re-evaluated...

Car was found about one week later in the big D stripped and deemed worthless.

The data from the SOS doesn't immediately go into the system and can in fact take days.

My guess he popped out onto Woodward hoping to pop someone for something. I mean really it is dream cruise week. So no one should doubt the cops know they can pop people right and left for all kinds of stuff. Doubtful he went after you because of DWB. Just stating that from my experience of ride alongs and what you can and can not see inside a car at that hour doubtful he could even tell you were black.

Probably got behind you ran your plate and it showed expired in the system.

Other cop showing up was probably in the area and stopped while the 1st one was on a traffic stop. They do that all the time. Our officers will roll up behind other cities we border and back them on traffic stops. All officers generally do that if they aren't busy and someone is out on a stop.

I didn't say it was okay, I just said the cop could have pulled him over because he was young, and not because he was black/brown/purple.

Either way, don't even start with this because nobody's rights were violated blah blah blah.

How many non-whites got pulled over? 1
how many non-colored guys from MM who when to woodward were pulled over?

You know it when you see them, I am getting flicked...funny part is when you try to box them out so that they have to show you how much they are coming directly after YOU, and you still get flicked.

But Obama is President so this does not happen anymore
 
I was DWW and got a ticket the other day. My insurance and registration were both from 2008. Lol. I was doing 85 in a 70.

Luckily I'm white and he only gave me a 5mph over. Lol!
 
Joe I feel your pain my man. I'd get hit all the time in the Hawk on woodward. I'd drive the limit, use the turn signals when I make a lane change. I'd use the 2 car lenght rule when pulling out the donut shop but the man was always messing with me... why u ask???

I took the last glazed donut and would ride around a big fat man in a thin mans world with the look of sugar frosting on my beard and coffee breath.
It piss um right off!
