alot of cars have ALPR's now. all the police do is drive around and it scans plates. if anything(registration, warrants, no insurance) gets flagged an alarm goes off and they pull you over

The cop said he ran the plate and it didn't come back. I'm sure there are tons of cars running around right now that haven't been out all year, with invalid plates or insurance etc. The cops know this.

I have gotten stopped due to the plate not matching the car I was driving because I switched it over a couple days prior from another car I had. IMO, the stop was good, but the BS'ing of the cops could have been postponed.

When you pull someone over you don't stop and have a conversation with a cop buddy that pulls up for 12 minutes. 3. because he hauled ass from a side street just to come over and pull me over when there was a truck in front of me that passed him first.4. Because I get tired of being pulled over when i'm doing nothing out of the ordinary in a car that I paid for, own and work on. 5. Why would you even say anything like that? You get pulled over for doing something against the law, not for driving down a street.

There was no switching of my plates so there's isn't a question as to if the plate belonged to that vehicle. I've had the same plate for at least 3-4 years. You don't understand how it wasn't a random stop because you weren't exactly there and didn't see the cop come from a side street, pull up in my blind spot then closer to see who was driving, then get back in my blind spot, then get behind me and pull me over. I don't do the DWB stuff, I hate when people use it, but i've been pulled over before and I know when it is and when it isn't.

Either way, he could have gotten pulled over because he was young, or because he fit the description of someone, or like the cop said, his registration didn't come back right. People want to rag on the cops for every single thing they do. You act like they pulled him out of the car and tazered him.

You might be missing the fact that there are these new appliances out called COMPUTERS.
