Foxbodydave just sent me this :

ok...the reason i havent been responding to anything is because i havent had a computer for a while now...im not trying to ignore anybody or start any shit...i talked to igotaneed4speed(derek) last night and explained everything to him,and ill tell you exactly what i told him...if something was put together wrong or over tourqued on that motor it is not anything i did...when automotive machine built the shortblock i had not touched it at all....everything was exactly how they had did it..it was ran long enough to break it in and thats it...i had not checked none of the pistons nor did i tear into the motor cause i was under the assumption that everything was ok in the motor....
 
Once again this is bullshit unless they put it together with used pistons..

Im sorry but you DO NOT IN ANWAY get that amount of post ring built up in a break-in only.. .

I've taken motors apart here at work with 10k on them and they look better than that..

The engine was fresh out of machining.. He ran it on a engine stand for break-in purposes and then set the motor to the side and never ran it again.. It was then traded to blackbird who didnt run the motor either..

So.. It could have been that the motor was set-up wrong and piston to wall clearances were incorrect.. It could have gotten hot on the stand when running break-in and gone un-noticed.. not sure. I could be getting a line of shit and nothing is what I was told but who knows..

I dont see me getting anything out of this but a huge argument and a bunch of pissed off people pointings fingers..

SO I'll be the man in this, check my losses and move on..

Im not draging them into this.. It wasnt him anyways i said initally not to quote me on that..

It was supposivly automotive machine who did the motor..

i would have to call :bs: on that also it looks like a backyard job to me
 
Talked to him on the phone.. as he did call. We talked about whats to happen and about the motors back ground alittle more..

He said he will make some calls tomorrow as will I. I'll keep those updated on a need to know basis from here on out.__________________

Dave while he was here confirmed it was automotive machine who did it. Said they are on 12 and grosebeck or something

:pissed: Sorry I'm just a lil on edge now.. this had made my stress level go form a 1 to 30 in the past day.. i cant tell you how hard it was for me to keep my cool on the phone and not blow up but out of respect I did.. even though it made me have a loss of words for the most part..

hopefully this turns out good.

Hey you guys took my damn lift chains.. :bored:

I bought new ones so you can keep those.. but i realized it when you guys were leaving and i was sitting there debating if i should call you or not to get them and said fuck it..
