like i said depends on the rings.. If all you ring gaps are right and the wall clearance is what the piston maker suggest you should be ok.. Plus if you motor has not been ran it will have a significantly higher valve than per say it was broke-in

My uncles motor was so slow becuase it on had one compression ring.. the motor uses a vacum pump so ring tension is very very slow. and piston to wall clearance was huge due to it being a massive nitrous motor.. like two stage fogger in the 500-750 range bottle car..
