From what i was told he said it was re-built and only ran for break-in. But This is hear say.. Hence the reason i would like him to speak-up since he's the only one who can tell me what happen'd..

With the dial Tq wrench it took 83 ft lbs to turn the short block over...

What should a short block take to spin over?

depends on the rins and piston fit.. bearing size bla bla bla.. most i've seen on a 351 was 45lbs..

My uncles bbc in his vet on takes about 40 to turn over...

So like 48-50 on a sbc shortblock something is fucked up? When we were playing with the rods/pistons like 6 of 8 were fine or barely had drag but two had quite a bit of drag. Should we be worried? The motor is still out of the car and on the stand.
