NA bolt on cars have gone 10'sConsidering he owns both cars, totally wouldn't doubt it. The older the LS1 F-Body gets, the faster it gets. By the time we have grandkids, it will be a stock 10 second car.

forgot, I also have a buddy with a 100% bone stock LS1 GTO. sending him a text now.
I think whats even sadder than a 2002 Camaro hanging with a 2011 Mustang is the fact that the 2011 Camaro cant hang with the 2002 Camaro...talk about progress
that poor thing is sooo heavy............................
I'll start by saying, I respect you, judging by your posts, and the cars you own and around on a regualr basis, you know your shit. That said I will say this...how fast do you think the new 5.0 is going to be? I mean really..it has be PROVEN over and over again that BONE stock from the factory never had a wrench turned on them, or a single keystroke to the computer have gone 12's. Now you guys are saying they sandbagged the mustang on purpose to let the camaro win. Let's say for the sake of argument that its a 13.20 car, for the mustang to "sandbag" and have a 13.20 camaro beat it, I think its safe to say it would have to be a mid 12 second car, no? Do you honestly think...being "not broke in, with 8 miles, with a new driver, with traction contol on, with a 250lb passenger" that the car would have to sandbag to let the camaro win? Do you really think those cars are going to be that fast? I mean I know like ford products but come on.
Is it REALLY that far fetched that a car that TYPICALLY runs low 13's and can break in the 12's stock, beat a new 5.0 mustang heads up, with no shenanigans? My personal opinion is no.

Nope it has the 98 ecm that no one will tune
I find it funny how hard it is to find a stock LS1. Just seems like there's so many out there, but nobody left it alone.
The 5.0 still is in the process of being unraveled. Tunes are primitive at this point because not many people have had the time to really get their hands on one. Evo Performance is running mid 11's with a tune and exhaust on their 5.0, but with a crude tune, it hit 11.8 to start.
Evo Performance also gutted the car from my understanding...
Evolution Performance, Inc. Second Pass - 10.88@127MPH - 1.59 60ft, Full Interior, and D.O.T. Tires!
I know someone who canNope it has the 98 ecm that no one will tune
Are there any stock LS1 Camaros left in Michigan?
You got that text too? He's been campaigning for this pretty hard lately.
