got ya. Why the CA plates?
They've been all over for promos, movies etc. Not sure what's going on with that one. A whole lot going on there that shouldn't be.

Sounds like someone's in trouble. Saw the kill switch on the dash and assumed it was a test car

That's just crazy. If that is an employee driving 150 in a company car on 696, that is just dumb.

I remember someone pointing out the press car having a nitto tire banner but perelli tires, like this one. Definitely seems like an early test car. Comments say the rubber rivets on the flares and LB stickers were to disguise it before the release.

If it's got a kill switch it most likely has a data logger and they're recording it
When a calibrator or whoever has a car out the only data logging going on is what they are doing with their own lap top.
Anyone else remember back in 2005 there was a pre-production (one of the first three built as I was at a supplier at the time and it had a version of a part we only made three of) SRT Jeep on Woodward ALL the time racing anyone that wanted to run? Not sure how that guy never got fired.
That would be such a good way to release a new car. Take it out to the street, run it at TX2K18 etc
