How many square feet is your house? only person I know with a 500 dollar light bill is someone with a 3900 sqft house and keeps the air at 64 degrees when its 90-100 out they also leave lights and shit on all the time. your house must be very inefficient.

I received the confirmation email about the Power Bridge today. I'm excited to get overly obsessed with it and then realize I'm freaking out over a single 3w light bulb in a night light.

One of my largest energy spikes (according to my data) is between 3-4am....... when everyone is sleeping and every light is off? Hmmmm
 
That's a weird one. I'd go after other large appliances and see where that gets you I know my fridges make a pretty big spike :)
 
Test the app. Intentionally put a high watt load on your house at a very specific time during the day. Then see what time the app reports it. repeat process at a different time the next day. If app reports exact times, 2 different days, within same range of increase, then you know the likely hood of your app reporting offset info is low.

Now to find the guy with his extension cord running to your place.
