DietBet – Who’s In?

I hear ya, there has never been anyone, ever when I've gone to my
gym. This one is a private one that gets very little use.

oh man, that's when i go, sometimes 11:30/midnight. Late night crew. Usually have the place to myself. Hit it on a friday, saturday or sunday night and it's extra quiet.

yup works out great for me only a few commited souls that late

That's roughly the amount of sleep I get and I don't want to get less. Guess I'm just not committed.

I wake up, get the workout in, out the door with the kid by 8/830. At work by 915. Work until about 530/6. Play with kiddo and do dinner until her bedtime around 9/10, then I do some stuff around the house. Always busy doing something but I guess I just make the time for it.

That has been the key for me, if it isn't
a top priority, it isn't getting done.

I fell and broke my tail bone in 5 places and compressed everything from L1 to L5 , I can honestly say I'm in constant pain and it only get worse the more I lay around , this is my therapy keep the body in motion and build the muscles up around the damaged area to support it. I feel my best after a work out and can really tell when I miss

I know your pain.....I had a major accident 12 years ago
and then 4 years ago I had another big-time issue that I
had to lose weight & get healthy or my family needed to
start planning a funeral (no joke).

Riding 56 miles is a BIG deal for me personally. I hope
you can continue to work through the pain to get as healthy
as you can be, or as the doctors say, "MMI" (Maximum Medical
Improvement).

55.8 lbs as of this morning.

From February 27th

Anthony, you're killing it!!!

Remember, the trick is to keep it off,
what "safeguards" do you have in place to
help to keep it off?

I'm still struggling to keep my mind in
this healthy lifestyle mode.

Any tips much appreciated!

Don't stop
Get it get it.

My eating is changed.

No desire at all to go back.

I will not fail. At anything I do. Ever.

Hard to believe it has been 6 months, I just won my 6th and finial
DietBet round in my 6 month weight loss game.

I lost 32.8 pounds. I only need to lose about another 5 to 10 pounds.

The next DietBet game I believe I'm going to play is a 12 month "Maintainer"
game where you have to maintain your weight loss, no more than +2% and
no less than -4%.

Hopefully this will help me to control and maintain my diet......I still haven't learned
and need a little more help.

Thank you everyone!

How much money did you end up winning?

They are still finalizing the end of the game results, we'll know in a day or two.

It won't be much more than I paid in. The point isn't to make a bunch of money,
if I make even a little (will be much more than bank interest) I'm happy. Think of it this way,
If I joined Weight Watchers and paid them, they wouldn't give me my money back if
I lost my weight - DietBet does.....plus.
