DietBet – Who’s In?

^^^ Sounds like a pretty good plan!

I believe it is a 3 fold approach to health & fitness success.

- Diet
- Exercise
- "Accountability, Encouragement & Motivation"

If you're rocking these 3 things, you're winning!

Weight loss pace has slowed some, down about 12% total. Working on timing meals for improved training intensity. Kind of a complicated hobby once you get into it. Lol. Power to weight ratio baby!

How's everyone else doing? Hang in there

My new Exercise Program….

I shoveled 3 tons of gravel today…..
Oh my aching back! I have 3 more tons
to shovel tomorrow…..someone please
remind me I’m not as young as I use to be!!!

I'm down to 209 lbs - lowest in over 20 years!

Great job!!

I've still been running, dipping under 200lbs now. New goal is 190 or less in the next ~2 months.

Also trying to maintain running 100+ miles per month.

^^^ Some great stats & good goals right there!

Likewise, you keep it going as well

Anthony, you da man!

You must be feeling pretty good.
I hope to break 200 soon. My DietBet
winning weight is 205, but I really want
to beat that.

I bought myself a Fitbit and have been getting after it. After three weeks, I'm down ten....A complete diet change, walking, and hitting the stationary at the Y with regularity is paying some dividends.

Ok, who are you and what have you done with Big Jim? :dw:

Just completed a 31 mile bike ride.....
what a beautiful day, I am so grateful I can
even do this, just 3 years ago I couldn't!

Life is good. I hope you're all making the most out
of this day - it is a gift!

Damn. Your ass must be sore as Hell

No, not at all. If you ride enough and have a good seat you're fine.
I have biking shorts (padding) and rarely use them.

I feel great, no soreness whatsoever. I could have and would have
road another 10 or 15 miles, I just ran out of time. I would like to
try a monster ride late summer and try for 50 to a 100 miles in
one day - I honestly think I could do it.........maybe....I think.

This is a good plan and I'm with you on that. Make a weight mark ( 100kg for me) then change the calories at that mark and work the body composition. Looks like you've been doing that to great effect. Getting to know yourself and how you respond I suppose is part of the process. I haven't cheated once in 140 days and still I feel this diet is sustainable.

Good job all!
