Agreed...but I don't think anyone said it was running low 10s......

We also know a 700whp vette won't run in the 10s and maybe not even in the 11s on the street with a 20" street tire

Plenty of STOCK z's run low 11's/high 10's - add a supercharger and some descent tire and a 6800lb truck isn't going to keep up, sorry!

You need to learn to read....ON THE STREET ON 20" STREET TIRES very few 700WHP cars will turn 10s or maybe 11s...(He did not have drag tires)

From what I remember your Z06 hasn't run into the 11s at all even at the track!

I would normally agree, but I saw it multiple times. The Z got walked out of the hole and it had 345 Nittos on the back. He actually launched it pretty good too.

Tim says the guy had Nitto's...probably invo's which grip pretty good. Tim also says he launched good - seems like you know less than he does about what was out there - both stories are conflicting. Even with 20" wheels on invo's, if you drive it right he would beat those trucks, maybe not at the line, but a tad past that. That is if he could drive worth a shit. And since Tim ran him later on in the night, and they were neck and neck - he doesn't have 700whp -OR- he really is a terrible driver with 700whp.

Ran an 11s slip this year, thanks! What you driving again? Oh yeah...nvm.

Ok, so he beat him off the line...my point is, a 6800lb truck isn't going to outrun a 3300lb car with 700whp in the long run.
 
yeah I agree. There have actually been a lot of diesel trucks out on woodward lately. Last time I was down there I got confused and thought I was at the 4H fair for a sec
