Diesel trucks racing on Woodard Friday

Did anybody see the Diesel trucks that were running up and down Woodward on Friday racing each other and cars?

I am very interested in finding out what was done to the white Dodge crew cab long box.........

I watched him take down a C6 Z06 with a built motor and a blower..(claimed 700WHP)....from a roll and a then a dig...For reference I watch this same Z06 take down a modified ZR1 (headers, pulley, exhaust , tune) earlier in the night on from a roll

The truck was just mean and I would guess 6800lbs?? Very interested in what was done to it.
 
That white dodge ram fuckin moved out.

Anyone see that F-350 dually with the lift kit on the 22.5" wheels? That was pretty nice as well.
 
That truck is a buddy of mikes and it was running faster than his green truck at the track. It's got a nasty twin setup on it
 
Sick trucks, although they did leave a nice layer of soot on my car from smoking out potbelly's every time they went by

At that track, maybe......but the street changes everything (vette was on 20" street tires, truck can launch in 4wd). Just call your buddy Tim, he was in the S/C GS at the light with them but didn't run them.

Maybe, The driver wasn't the owner but he stated he a a C6 as well.........Either way the street is the equalizer!

No idea.....It was pretty stupid in front of shell/potbelly. I am surprised the stupidity lasted as long as it did
 
WW sucks I don't understand how WWDC is still going with the police and cities hating on the event. People are going to do stupid shit and its never going to change.

All it is is a revenue opportunity, but if interest from the goers is lost then what's the point.

ok, so it's the driver. who cares if the truck can win in 4wd on the street? lol. And Tim knows better than to race on ww, kudos to him.

Yeah those trucks were nuts! I saw the Z run him and the truck certainly had him on Woodward. I think it would have been a different story from a roll on the freeway. I later ran that Z06 on the freeway and while we never got a clean run, we were pretty much deadlocked everytime we went.

I've seen enough people get rolled on Woodward to know it's better to just sit and watch.:wink:
