The new 5 Guys opened today in the old Salsarita spot. (Southfield and Outer, between Starbucks and Coldstone.)

If you leave the empty bag under your seat in the middle of the summer, how do they smell.. That's my only question

Not as bad as White Castle, and it wasn't middle of the Summer, it was Fall. Remember football Sunday's at Champps.

Well paint me red and slap my ass you're right as usual. I almost forgot since it's been so long. :icon_mad:

And you put your Corvette away for the winter in September. Your opinions are invalid. ;)

I'm just glad that we have another option around here for lunch.

Guys have WAY more options than out here in A2. Getting food around here SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love a great BBQ place around here.

Miller's is a half mile from me but I'm happy Salsaritas gone and also is a place called Salad Wrappers.. Never been to either but could you pick a worse name? You specialize in salsa and salad?? No thanks! :)

Millers isn't what it used to be. They definitely changed things a couple of years ago and it's just not as good.

We loved Salsarita's nachos. When the owner dumped the franchise and tried to go independent, it was the beginning of the end.

I've never been to Salad Wrappers. Doesn't sound like a place I would go.

What did they change? I made a stop there for the first time last year and it wasn't anything like you guys have said it was. It was ok, but nothing to rave about.

They definitely changed something with the meat. I don't know if they went to frozen patties or something but it's not as good as it used to be "back in the day".

I did notice the difference last time I was there, but it's still 10x better than most other places.

"new" millers is still 10x better than 5 guys.

I agree with Stanford Fries are good and the burgers are "alright"

Millers buys their burgers frozen from GFS now. They used to be made fresh. Havent been back since i seen the guy bringing 50 boxes of frozen GFS burgers into the place. It was $10.99 for a box of 12 burgers at GFS but haven't been there in a while. Millers is definitely making their money on a box of burgers now though. I figure $20 investment for $120 return i believe is somewhere around 500% return on investment.
