Dearborn lunch guys - 5 Guys opened up today

Any recomendations for the Dearborn crowd (From FBP3/ Lions training factility) for healthy food? Subway is getting old.

Unfortunatly, no. Aside from Subway, there isn't much out there that's truely healthy. Kabobs from Shish Kabob Express aren't terrible but once you add the butter-soaked rice, pita and, toum (garlic sauce), it's no longer a healthy meal. I bring a lunch to work every day because otherwise I'll eat like shit.

Millers buys their burgers frozen from GFS now. They used to be made fresh. Havent been back since i seen the guy bringing 50 boxes of frozen GFS burgers into the place. It was $10.99 for a box of 12 burgers at GFS but haven't been there in a while. Millers is definitely making their money on a box of burgers now though. I figure $20 investment for $120 return i believe is somewhere around 500% return on investment.

No they dont. They buy from Davis Meats (local company owned by a friend of my fiance's), the truck is there all the time and the dude is wheeling in tons of meat. I will snap a picture the next time I am there when the truck is (this happens frequently)

and here is the photo I promised.

I sat down to lunch with the owners a couple years back. They said any given week day they go through over 300 pounds of meat, and on a weekend day, 500. There's no way they use GFS meat! I was there last year at this time, and it was great, but i agree not as good as 5 years ago. But still better than any other bar burger I've had, but not all taste buds are the same.
