Comcast speed bump!

Guess i need to go home and reset mine tonight...ill be the only one not affected by this

As mentioned in this thread if you guys dont have a DOCSIS 3.0 Modem you arent going to see this upgrade just a heads up I dont want any of you guys to be unnecessarily bummed!
 
Any of you guys had issues torrenting with Comcast?

That's the one thing keeping me with WOW right now despite the speeds Comcast offers. In the 7 years I've had them, WOW hasn't throttled me or sent me a single letter about my downloading habits. I feel like Comcast would be a little more stringent on that.

Yup, I had the "blast" before which was supposedly 25 but I always saw the cap at 35. I see it now at around 70-75 depending on the load. I saw spikes of 120Mbit this morning before it slowed back down.

Comcast is now signed up with Mark Monitor, torrent violators will receive nasty grams.

I use a private non-logging VPN in the Netherlands, with private torrent sites, so I have zero issues.
