Comcast speed bump!

While we're talking Comcast, while I hate dealing with Comcast 90% of the time, does anyone have any opinion on their home security? I already have Triple play and I have Guardian Alarm do my home security system. I've gotten this thing a few times offering my "Xfinity" home security a couple times that would be about $10 a month less than Guardian. The Xfinity equipment looks better, they throw in a camera, and the Guardian Alarm phone app control has never worked at all so it would be nice to have an app that did work.

It does look quite nice, was wondering the same.

I just got Xfinity turned on at my new house and I cannot access Google... It says it is untrusted. I am using Firefox. Xfinity tech support so far isnt helping and they are asking me to sign up for "signature class" tech support for $15! Already on top of the $25 installation fee I just paid!

Anybody know anything about Google being untrusted with Xfinity and Firefox?????

Bullshit! Give me the full speed!!!!

BTW, the new X1 box has been awesome!

A few glitches at first but they've corrected it. I can't wait for them to open this thing up full speed. There are features that this box has that arent active yet.

My shit at work is still slow. Just did a reset and it was the same. We just had comcast installed at this location for the first time so everything was new as of December 2012. Any other tricks?

I think it's only residential customers as the only two tiers that got the bump were residential products.

I can only get Bright House at my home in Farmington Hills. Comcast is not available but Att is available, but not Their fastest speed (40mbs) only 26mbs.

Now get this I pay for BH Road Runner Lightning "RRL" service advertised at 40MBs. I pay 79.95/month. I am the LEAST Tech, old fart you can emagine. I see how you guys test it so I go and test mine...27.12mbs & 4,77mbs upld. I contact BH who says do a wireless hub reset. Ok did that still only 27.xx. Bh's basic RR service is 54.95/mth for 26mbs PLUS I pay 30.00/mth for the LIGHTNING. (5.00 discount)
I wonder how long I've been paying for NO increased speed?

Rant off.
