when you transfur money from a bank account into your paypal account, it takes paypal on average 2 days to clear the transaction. Its basicly processing time.

My 0.02? What I propose is that NO ONE be allowed to post to any for sale sections of the forum unless they have 100 posts minimum and be a paid member for at least 30 days.

It will cut out a lot of the crap.

I know this guy isn't exactly deserving of our patience or trust... but I will say that when I've paid for things with PayPal and had them deducted from my bank account, it takes anywhere from 2-5 days for the other person to get the funds confirmed. It's almost instant with a CC, but from a bank account it takes a few days.

Just trying to ease your mind a bit.

i also vote that we have a minimum post to sell in the classifieds. our reputation is too important to be associated with scamming sex offenders.

just a little FYI, the 08 in his email addy just means there were 8 other people before him that attended baker with the same name. It doesn't have anything to do with the year you graduate.

I disagree. The buyer chooses to do business with a user that has 30 posts.

However we do get spammers who join just to try to pedal shit and this rule might cut down on that

That is no ones fault but your own. It is right there for you to read. If you aren't willing to take 1/2 a second to watch out for potetial scams, why should we make rules to protect you?
