Probably a strange build to most but I've always loved this body



I'd love to build it into a simple V8 drag car, or if funds allow a road course car.
Problem is they're very hard to find, and expensive, a flood car would be perfect.

Hell yeah! I love those ugly things. Looks like a Converse high top. Pretty rare to find though.

Yeah, x2... the stock height trucks didnt have much jounce travel left. I remember when SoCal speed shop did their salt flats truck. The truck was riding on the jounce bumpers. Rode like shit, but the stance was what the factory truck should have had.

Bringing this back up. Here's one. Actually I'm not sure if I wouldn't just have Superformance build it. Cobras are old school but the Coyote is new school. 420 hp and 2000 lbs? Yeah that sounds like fun.

I spent the better part of a summer helping my ex- father in law build a factory 5........ the only problem was my fat ass couldent fit in it when it was done. LOL!!! all that work and never once got to even ride in it!

on a side note, Nick kept bragging about how fast he was going to be and how bad he was going to "kick my ass" (when I had the vette) I told him "look, Nick, yes this is light weight but, all you have is a stock 5.0L with an F303 cam........ My vette is gutted with a monster 383 LT engine... I really dont think your thinking this thru........"

Sure enough we were going to a car show together and we were going down a 2 lane on ramp... he looked at me, I smiled ..........he gunned it, and I amtrack'ed his ass...... Needless to say I think that was the final straw for the ex....LOL!!! She said "you couldent let him win? that his pride and joy" I said. "I wasent talking shit he was. and now I just shut him up. But not to worry Dear.....I'm not going to say a word about it." needless to say, from that day forward, Nick was quiet from then on.... ;)
