Can anyone recommend an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor on the westside?

Have had a funny crackling sound going on in my ear for a couple weeks now. Starting to get very painful when my ear or anywhere around the ear is touched. Wanna get it looked at but don't want to go to my primary doctor because he'll most likely just send me to a specialist and I'll have two deductibles to pay. Anyone you've had a good experience with?

Sounds like an infection. Alittle "cillin" might fix you up.

I had a similar problem when I was 5. I ended up out a U of M in Ann Arbor seeing Dr. Koopman, he was an ear/nose/throat specialist.......Great Dr, don't know if he's still there though....

Crackling about the ear, on the front side? Ew, sounds like a peri-lobal auricular degenerative otitis with a progressive invasive osteoma. Most likely will need a split-saggital ramus vertical osteotomy and an intra-auricular Pemrose drain with a maxillary-antral sinus exploration via the nares. Very bad news dude. Better get to a doctor fast.

For about the past year or so...my right ear seems to be clogged or something. It all started when I woke up on my right ear....and it felt like it was full of something....but when I righted myself and put my finger in it...it went away. It still does that, and I dunno why. I got some Murine but that didnt work. I guess im gonna have to go to the doc.

I had a problem like that a few months ago.I went to family doctor and he said it was sinus infection.He prescribed me clairiton(sp).Cleared it up.Happened again and I took niquil cold and sinus and that did the trick.But I also go to a ear-nose-throat doctor at Beaumont on westside(not Troy)Doctor Garcia,for my throat.And endochrinolagists at Henery Ford downtown.Both are very good.Good luck.
