best products to use on swirl marks & fine scratches?

There are almost too many projects out there. I use a lot of products. I use Wizards Turbo Cut, Finish Cut, 3M Perfect-It II & III, Meguiars No. 7 Swirl Remover, ummm.....

There are soooo many other products out there I have never used because I didn't see a need to use them. Like others have said every car and every paint is different, so it's trial and error.

It's funny, I didn't know anyone used their stuff but Wisconsinites. I live minutes from Lake Country Manufacturing.
99% of my polishing pads and applicators are made by Lake Country. Love their products. :)

OP Forget about the Flex3401 and pick up a Metabo.
:)

WHAT!?!? Tell Eric (I believe is the man to contact) to send me more pads!!!! Especially the "Thin-Mint" pads that are still being tested by some of my buddies ;)

Oh, and Little Ms GTO: Forget a Metabo: get a Festool :D

Well i spent a good 3-4 hours today using some wizards finish cut followed by some wizards paint polish & sealant. I swear the whole truck looks damn near new. Every single scratch is now un-noticeable to anyone that looks at it other than myself (i know where to find them) And all the swirl marks are gone as well. The paint just looks Deep and shiny/wet. I am going to put a coat or two of Zymol later this week as a final wax coat. I meant to get pics today but my camera was missing the memory stick.

I love this truck, especially the color :)

Wizards finish cut is a great compound. I really like their sealant (the supreme seal i believe it is, in the white/purple top bottle)

the wizards is pretty easy to use and doesn't "hide" your job like a lot of cheap "glazes" do. I may be stubborn in my ways as I've tried a lot of different products and either I'm just not using them right or they just aren't for me, but wizards has always done me right, and it's not too expensive either, $13 or so per bottle...

my favorite for light scratches and swirls is actually Zaino PC Fusion. its about the only zaino product i use anymore. It does a good job and has minimal mess in comparison to meguiars products.

I also trust matts opinion on everything so i might have to try the wizards stuff.

Yep, me too. Sometimes the Turbo Cut isn't enough to get 2000 grit scratches out, so I have to turn back to my 3M stuff. I do like how the Wiards smells and how it doesn't sling nearly as much as other compounds. It also cleans up easy. Plus for a 1 quart bottles it's $20. 3M 1 quart bottles are $30-40 each.
