Just for reference...

For my Toy or Hobby, I see nothing wrong with spending that much time detailing or doing what you want to it.

I personally think that is crazy for doing that for your DD.
Then again it is your car and if you like to do that then so be it!
Nothing worng with it I guess.

Little OCD, but then again your screen name is Crazzy_Al

I wash my DD probably like 3 times per year. I do maintain the crap out of the drivetrain though. It always gets oil/filter changed, grease job. I've done all the front suspension ball joints and bushings. I'm on my 2nd set of tires, 3rd set of front brakes, ect...

If it were newer, I'd spend time detailing it. It's a nice truck, it's a rotary wheel away from being shiney and new, just don't care enough.

I spent 2.5hrs cleaning my Grand Marq a couple weekends ago, but I have it for sale. The truck gets about 35 mins.

It's your car. If you like to do that and want to...then more power to you.

I bought my Jeep in February and the only time I washed it was in Georgia on my way to Florida for vacation just to get the salt off...

Every time I think of washing it, there's rain in the forecast.

So al when are u available my car has like acid rain etched in the paint and Windows so it needs to be wheeled and clay barred. When u wanna do it ?

I can't even properly wash and dry a truck in 35 minutes. Hell, I can't even do my Cobalt in that amount of time.

And just for the record, I could not be happier with how pretty my 4 door turd looks right now. :D Everything is so ridiculous glossy. I always park right outside my office and I find myself admiring my hard work all day. :D

You forgot to clean your wheelwells ;)

Naw, I cleaned them by spraying on a cleaning agent, letting them soak a bit, and then rinsing them with a strong stream of water. The car is too low and my arms are too big for me to even consider trying to get my hands/arms in there.

Take the weels off lazy, Heck I pull the plastic wheel lines out to clen them and clean behind them you would be amazed at what gets behind them

Pull the wheels and apply apply some Mothers back to black... works wonders :)
