Any of you check out the Hertz bankruptcy sale?

How about a Hertz Corvette Z06?

https://www.hertzcarsales.com/certi...Corvette-a8d984160a0e0ae777dbe6b0f240bc5f.htm

Not everything is a spectacular deal but it looks like there are deals to be had. Make the search 1000 miles and you can pick from a bunch of 2019 Escalades in the low 30K miles range for low to mid 50'. Not sure if that is a good deal or not since I've never shopped for an Escalade but I know it is well below MSRP for a new one.

If that’s the actual car for the charger add it’s a deal. I paid 24k for my 18 gt v6 awd with 38k miles.

That should be the actual car!

interesting, it seems like when I do need to rent a car, it's always a Kia.
Even knowing I'm a gold customer, all that is there is Kia, or maybe it's a Hyundai...Same diff...

I've been looking at the Hertz cars for way too long! Lots of interesting stuff, though. If you need a Tahoe/Suburban or similar vehicle, there are hundreds available and you can find some in the mid to upper 30K mile range for mid to high $30K:

You can find some way overpriced Hertz addition 2020 Camaro 2SS but you can also find some more reasonably priced 2020 Camaro 2SS and Mustang GT convertibles. Not great deals but not too bad for having under 10k miles and the deals start to get better as the mileage goes up, of course:

How about half off MSRP on a 15k mile 2019 BMW 740i?

Mercedes SLC Roadster or CLA45 AMG:

Or a 2019 Ram Rebel:

There are also a ton of Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on there if that's your thing:

I've spent an hour plus on there looking at cars I don't need and am not in the market for. LOL I guess this is how I wind down from a full day out in the garage or yard working on stuff.

You can get new 2019 Wranglers still on the dealership lot for what they're asking for used ones with 30k on them.

I think this will help push used car prices lower though. The prices are good, just not a deal.

I was a mechanic for Hertz a few years back. All those cars are clapped out, wrong oil there entire life, oil changed every 5-7500 miles if your lucky ( most of the time 10-15k ). Janky repairs just to get them on the road again. Everything rwd with a v8 needed tires damn near every time it got rented.... buy at your own risk guys, dont expect it to be a deal of a lifetime that needs no work.

My son rents alot of cars for work... every time I see ... 2 year old car with 60 k

no camaros not interested

There are tons of Camaros. Just not within the 200 mile radius that I included in my link. Widen the search out to 1000 miles and you'll see a bunch of Camaros and Mustangs, both hard top and convertible. There are 455 of them within 1000 miles of Livonia which won't get you the west coast. Update the location for west coast cars.

Link to Camaros and Mustangs only (sorted by price high to low):

Here is a link to another 451 within 1000 miles of Oakland, CA (sorted by price high to low). There is probably some overlap with the other one.

Clearly they think the Hertz edition Camaros are going to be a collectors item with how they have them priced.

Don't look like any smoking deals to me for vehicles that you KNOW have had the ever loving shit beat out of them...

There in lies the problem, I know how I treat rental cars. lol

In gear before the starter stops.
Replace throttle with toggle switch as there is no need for a rheostat.
Wait until Lewis Hamilton winces, then hit the brakes.
