Any GM service techs?

I had the EXACT same issue with my 06' Lincoln LS. I checked reference voltage, reference ground, sensor signal to/from all pots, all fine. There was no issue with the dbw system. I was about to pull my hair out. Then I had a crazy idea. I swapped the coil closest to the pcm with one from the other bank. Issue did not return. I replaced the plugs and coils of course. It must have been emmiting emi.

Obviously different vehicles, but try swapping some coils around.

A coil causing a problem on a Lincoln LS is like the Opti Spark causing a problem on an LT1... Even more so the coils on an Lincoln LS.... you are correct it is the coils emitting EMI... Those cars are very weak to it

Yes I am aware, and I agree. Just throwing it out there for smooth to try. Cost zero monies and takes very little time.
