GM Service techs 5th gen Camaro Active handling issue

A misfire will shut the stabilitrak down so that is probably why they did the tune up, injectors and stuff

Ahhhh ok, that makes a lot more sense now. Something under the car (an exhaust shield maybe?) is rattling. I wonder if that's setting off the knock sensor.

They should be able to data log the evironmental data when it sets the codes. We used to have recorders that the customer could push the button when an issue happened. Now the data should be stored automatically when a code sets

Definitely check out the rattle, if it's a loose heat shield it won't affect driveability. A knock sensor will just retard timing and give you worse MPG/performance.

it threw that code same code 3 more times tonight, I'd clear it and it would come right back after a little while. I did notice it running rough too, downshifting a bit hard too.

First thing, Bill Fox sucks! My ex used to take her cars there for service and they always found some ways to extract money out of her every time the car was there for even an oil change.

As far as the issue, it sounds like an ECM issue or wiring harness to the ecm or injectors. Could be a corroded pin? Could be a mouse chewed something somewhere? It could be a bad ecm?
But i'd find a better dealer first.. I would say Les Stanford Chevrolet even though it's a haul for you.

Trade it in and make it someone elses problem while its still worth some cash!... something so small will be a headache of a life time! Go get a Raptor.. I'm sure Alex wont mind!
