94 Mustang Project

Are you lookin for one of these?

If so, I have one you can borrow. I am right up the road from ya.

Yea thats what i need I have some flapper type discs for it already

Pure84GTT do you have a link? 2 of the clips are broken on one side of mine.I love carbon fiber =p

:) I'll probably just keep the stock one for now it isn't cracked or anything just 2 of the tabs are missing. I'll keep the CF one in mind though Just can't justify the $140 on it at the moment when i need soooo much other crap!

Mostly finished with the dash board not to happy with how the panel to cover the glove box came out I'll end up redoing it. Want to see how it looks when its in the car first. I couldn't find a decent way to attach the panel to the Dash rivets don't stick in the vinyl.... Hoping to finish grinding the engine bay Saturday and then I can work on installing the rest of the interior. The lightweight column should be fun.

If you run a couple long flanges down the sides, you could velcro the panel in. Nice progress bud

Put the stock glove compartment door in! its worth the added weight. will look 100x's better...

No way that thing seriously weighs like 10 lbs. I want to see how it is in teh car cause honestly the way the dash is curved I dont think you can even see it. When i'm welding up that stuff for you you can try to get the plastic door off the metal frame for me =p ooh and put the dash back in teh car lol!

Ok major welding and Grinding = done! Thanks Beigg for lending me the grinder and was nice meeting you. Turned about 4 hrs of grinding with my 90 into about 1.5 hrs.

Still haven't decided what to do with the frame rails. I don't really want to box them in and if I don't box them in I can't really fill the holes in them or any water/fluids that get on the rail will just sit there. So I think they are staying the way they are.

I'll get a better picture tomorrow and piece together a before and after. Maybe even grab a can of gloss white just to see what it looks like one color.

Took a couple pics in the sunlight no paint though didn't have time to busy working on Project minivan for outlawSS. Should of took some photos of it =p
I Still need to cut off that back rail that sticks out but that can wait till I get a better compressor a cutoff wheel on a die grinder will make short work of it.

Also had a bit of time to kill so I got the dash mounted in and took a few pics of the interior out in the sunlight. It's a bit dusty still and I probably need to vacuum it again. Next on the list is mocking up the light weight steering column and getting my seat installed. Probably start mocking up the steering wheel during the week and making an aluminum panel to go from the Dash board to to the trans tunnel to replace the stock one I won't be running. ;)

Started to mock up the Seat and lightweight steering column today. Need to get the seat mounted so i can figure out where I want the steering wheel. The column has to be cut to the length you want. So far the racecraft stuff has fit real nicely.
