2018 College Football Thread

After watching the MSU game, I think they are still making too many mistakes. On most nights/days, this probably won't be a problem. The two or three games that will count this will be a problem. Yes, there are injuries, but the replacements can not make sloppy plays. It'll be an interesting year...

Swifster reanimating in 10....9....8.....

That's some funny shit right there...

1) The Northwestern game... No one to blame but the coaches. The team was unprepared, sloppy and when they did finally take the lead, they choked. There was no excuse losing to Northwestern...PERIOD.

2) The entire season...until today, has been sloppy. The offensive line has sucked and Lewerke (even today) has had a bad habit of throwing behind his receivers. There have been stupid penalties on both sides of the ball. While there have been injuries, at some point you have to blame the coaching. I get the frustration that Ryan had with Lloyd Carr's OC. I wish they would replace Dave Warner. BUT, Dantonio and his staff have been conservative since he got here.

3) The Good, The Bad and the UGLY - The good is MSU beating another ranked team on the road. In this case, Penn State in Happy Valley. This was by far, the best game MSU played this year. The Bad was the dumbass call for a fake field goal with five minutes left. Just kick the damn field goal! And the UGLY...Michigan hasn't beaten a ranked team on the road since 1962. And while MSU has a winning record over such teams since Dantonio took over, Ryan feels all off the teams MSU beaten has sucked (I'm sure that includes OSU in Columbus with back up QB's).

Looking forward to next week bitches!

Great game last night. Ferris should be #1 now, but the polls aren't out yet.
GVSU should still make the playoffs, even with this loss.

Did you watch it? I looked a the box score and Jayru is getting 25 carries per game. Are they running an option?

Yeah, I watched some of it. They run a read-option and have for several years. The Ferris QBs have all had big rushing #s since our current coach took over. But Jayru actually has a great arm too, we just don't have the receiving corps to match him.

Michigan's win was a solid one where the team was complete for the whole game. Spartan fans are saying that UM will come in overconfident because of their win over Wisc and as such, they will crush them. I think they are forgetting that they just lost to NW at home. I think the score looks close, but the stats aren't close. I'm thinking 28 to 17 Michigan.

MSU has 94 yards of total offense [emoji23]

Michigan out MSU'd MSU. Then you find out Lewerke probably shouldn't have been playing. That and Felton Davis went down in the 2nd Quarter. Look, Michigan deserved to win, but if you want to start one of those Stay Classy threads, you can start with Devin Bush, Winovich and the other idiots trying to tear up the Spartan logo before and after the game. This is the classlessness the Assholes from Ann Arbor are famous for. Oh, and don't bother with the "oh, the Wolverines were out warming up..." bullshit. It wasn't their time. MSU walks the field every game 2 hours before.

Excuses, followed by butt hurt. Sparty tears, my favorite.

Actually MSU walked out at 10:10am, they were late. Michigan walked out at 10am. At that time Michigan had every right to their side of the field for warm ups. But by all means continue with your spewing crap that you have no clue in...
