2016 Lions thread........discuss or discust?

I don't think that but can you really pin Sunday on him? He was under pressure all day and still had an "ok" game. The D was bad, the coaching was worse. The failure to challenge the obvious fumble. I was texting a buddy laughing at the Texans running on 3rd and 18 and we immediately run it on 2nd and 21. Then the onside kick that effectively ended the game. Caldwell obviously thought the D was so bad he didn't even give them a chance to get them a ball back besides a prayer. I think Caldwell is a nice guy but sometimes he makes some seriously inexplicable decisions.

:werd: ^all of that is correct^

Hey, it's a compliment, I guess. He's been so good, they have forgotten what an actual bad game by a QB looks like.

He can't save this team from itself EVERY week.

I don't pin Sunday on him at all. I actually thought the way Stafford is playing that they would score on that final drive and make it close. I was being facetious because a certain someone in this thread like's to give him all the credit when they win, it's laughable.

Who should we give the credit to? The last in the league defense? The receivers who lead the league in drops? The stout 70 yard per game running crew led by superstar Zach Zenner? The amazing play calling bu the coaching staff?

Bottom line.... Offence didnt put up enough points to beat the Texans... Who's in charge of that football in order to get it in the end zone? anybody? anybody?

All i care is that MY elite QB A. Rodge made me 1500 bucks on Fanduel yesterday.... Stafford sure hell wouldnt of helped me

Gotta give credit to the NFL for giving them an easy as pie schedule up to this point. Short memories and out of context statistics forget that was the same reason they finished so strong last season.

That's all you've got left. Better hang on to it as long as you can!

I don't give a shit about Matt Stafford. He could get in a car accident tomorrow and die and wouldn't care. I've got zero emotional attachment, unlike you with your continuous nut swinging.

Good thing the Vikings didn't play worth a crap and LOST the game.

I can't comment too much on the game because I missed three quarters. But why can't Stafford put up any lead to points in the first three quarters of any game. And I'm not talking a field goal or 2, I'm talking a touchdown or two. He's only reliable on the last two minutes of every game.

The last 2 minutes is the only time he controls the play calling.

Yet you sound so angry? Because you don't care so much?
