Intake exhaust and a solid tune and e85 and I bet they're mid 12's. They're cool trucks, I've only seen one of them on the road so far, and I imagine it was a manufacturer tagged truck. Hope I run into one that wants to run next year.
Your truck runs better than any stock lightning I've ever seen in person at the track. "Stock Lightning" is almost an oxymoron though..
The artice I read, motortrend?? Said their 2wd turbo crew cab went 0-60 in 6.2 and Ford is claiming 5080lbs and Sub 6 second times for the Tremor.. Sounds about right.
Yeah that Ram scoots but factory power adders are the whip shiznit. If only GM got their 3.6 turbo in a SBSC...
Those times are more like it. When it first was shown the press releases all said 7 seconds.
Fuck yeah, GM needs to get to the party. 3.6 turbo in the new Colorado. DO IT.
I saw the carbon fiber Silvy up close at SEMA. So insanely not practical in any sense of the word, but man was it a cool exercise. 6.2, Carbon ceramic brakes, carbon fiber bumpers and TRUCK BED. Weighs like 4,300lbs. I was smitten.
First glance I thought it would be less too. They said the CF bed/bumpers knocks off like 200#s. 4,300 seems like a lot, but my rcsb Ram weighs over 4800lbs.Damn still 4300# for that truck?

Was the entire bed CF, or just the skins?
They should at least bring back the ProTec bed option IMO, similar benefits as CF, but a little more practical.
Trucks just seem to be getting completely out of control in the size/weight department!
"Midsize" today is typically as large or bigger than like the early 90's f150's/ck1500's/etc.... I may be in the minority here, but I do not like it.
They said "bed." Everything I could see was CF. But I'm sure it wasn't all CF.
Midsize today? There literally is no midsize truck, right now, in the states. As in, that segment does not exist.
Colorado? Where can you buy a 2013 Colorado?
The toyota and nissan weren't on my radar. And neither are "big," both are pretty much right sized for that category. GM, Ford, Dodge...they don't make a midsize truck right now(at least for the US market).
Frank is on his way. He's the slow one though.Josh, if you want to argue, please send a carrier pigeon with your thoughts.
