I am pretty sure he is blue. I wouldn't count on him going green anytime soon :)

He decommitted. He's also looking at Oregon and a few others. I only said he took one of his visits to E.L. I'm sure a lot will depend on the new coaches.

The NCAA limits the amount of freshmen that can be signed by a class. The number is 25. [?QUOTE]

Wrong this it is now 28, and still ways to get around this number.

While I'm sure Hoke will get some MAC level talent added to the 12 commitments still hanging around [?QUOTE]

Really?! Michigan has 6 possible recruits in the top150 (of most recruiting rankings) still interested or has gain interest in them since Hoke's hiring. FYI Michigan State only has one.

While I like Gardner, will he stay sitting behind Shoelace for 2 years only to be bypassed by a pro-style QB[?QUOTE]

This would tell me that you don't know much about Gardner. He was recruited by both types of systems as he can throw just as well as run.

The only question for MSU will be who's replacing Greg Jones and Eric Gordon at linebacker? Oh, and who will do the punting? Other than that, the team is fine. MSU will be 8-4 or 9-3. As for UM going 8-4...HAHAHAHAHAHA! Good one...

Really? I guess you forgot about Mark Dell, Chris L Rucker (I guess it's easy to forget about when you got a felony), Marcus Hyde, and Charlie Ganatt just to name a few more. Your losing 4 of your top 5 defense players! While not huge these are good player makers that should be included.

The other five-star to fall is Detroit (Mich.) Renaissance linebacker Lawrence Thomas, a 6-foot-4, 232-pounder who was previously ranked No. 13 in the country just behind Calloway but plummeted to No. 55 after a less-than-inspiring performance at the Under Armour All-American Game. While Thomas, a Michigan State commitment, won't draw as much ire as Calloway because he didn't flip commitments from one rival to another the week before the ranking, his drop will still draw some irate comments from Spartan and Big Ten fans. However, Nee was at Under Armour all week and felt Thomas didn't bring a lot to the table.

"Thomas definitely looks the part from a physical and athletic standpoint, checking in at 6 feet 4, 250 pounds and exhibiting solid speed from the middle linebacker spot," said Nee. "But in a week of watching him at Under Armour practices and then the game, you simply were left wanting more. Thomas was nearly non-existent in the game making little to no impact and never showed flashes of being amongst the nation's top 20 players."

Ouch sounds like he was just a little over rated.....

Onto good news. Since the Hoke hire there is now interest or more interest in Michigan from TE Frank Clark, CB Ramon Taylor, DL Tony Posada (comes in for second visit), DB Stefan MaClure, and DB Floyd Raven. All are coming in this weekend for offical visits and in some cases bumping other schools off their offical visit list to see Michigan. These are all 4 star recruits and inside the top 250.

Also saw Hoke talked to Jacob Fisher on the phone and is sending someone up to meet his at his home this week. While this is good I would rather focus our time and effort in Chris Bryant, who visited this weekend and came away really impressed with Michigan.

Even if there is a down year in recuiting this year I believe it's ok pass this year as we are only losing 11 seniors this year (Troy Woolfork will get a 5th year medical and will return). Losing LB Mouton, LB Ezeh, OL Schillings, and CB Rodgers. We have 30 Freshman( a couple will get redshirted) and 18 Red shirt freshman, some of them playing a good amount of time during the season.

The reason there is only 11 seniors is that the rest of that class left. What few players UM signs will be competing for starting jobs because the rest of the defense is that bad.

Sounds like you're making excuses. I'm not going to judge the kid on one game. Now if he's a bust like William Campbell, we'll discuss it.

State's loaded at receiver. We still have Keshawn Martin and B.J. Cunningham coming back as starters. Brian Linthicum is as good as Gantt and Dion Sims will be back on the team in the fall. Young players were rotated into the game, so the four guys on defense who graduated are being replaced by talented guys who have already been on the field (Bullough & Allen at LB and Lewis and Dennard at DB). Will we be 11-2 next year? Probably not, but 8-4 or 9-3 is well within reach. Not like UM fighting with Minnesota for the division basement.

Actually, unlike the SEC, the BIG Ten is limited 85 total (in otherwords, what the scholarship limit is). The exception to the 25 is on who left team. Illinois lost 3 to the draft so they have 26 right now. No one else is close to 25 because of the 85 limit. The Big Ten frowns on Grayshirting.

So what you are saying is that UM has none. And actually, according to ESPN, UM has 3 considering and MSU has 1 considering and 1 commitment. Considering the past 40 years, MSU is making the list that they never would have before. Recruiting 4 & 5 star guys is still a work in progress. We've lost out to numerous other schools (SEC, ACC, etc) for players who never would have considered MSU 6 or 7 years ago. No complaints on our recruiting. Better hope some of those maybe's take pity on UM.

And what about Robinson? You going to make him a wide receiver? The kid gets hurt every game. You really think he can handle playing tailback?

And that's fine, he was a RROD recruit and Hoke said he would honor all of those commitments. We've already offered to Matt Wile who was the kicker at the army all american game and was recruited by Hoke at SDSU.

And you realize the kid's hometown is...San Diego, right?

Yep. Swiftard has yet to ackknowledge it. Probably because he knows lil bros short stint has come to an end.

Like I've been saying all along, Michigan has too much money, too many great alumni, and too much history to stay down for long. I wasn't very confident in Brady Hoke, but if he keeps surrounding him self with a great staff like this, it's going to be very, very good for the program.

I'm quite OK with Hoke. He gets it. He knows how the game should be played at Michigan.
