That'd be a good place for him. Back to the Big East where we already know he knows how to dominate everyone but TCU. I'll turn on the TV the first time Pitt visits WV too. That ought to be throughly entertaining.

With the comments Brandon is making about "lets rally around the coach" makes me think Brady Hoke is a done deal. Harbaugh wont come, Miles doesnt want to, Hoke is a "Michigan Man" and probably the only one available.. damn this sucks for the future of the football program..

I dont think thats the case, i think a ton of coaches would love the job. I think UM has to have a very short list because of the debacle this turned into with bringing in someone who isnt/wasnt a "Michigan Man". Harbaugh, Miles, Hoke. I dont see anyone else coming here, just my .02

I have faith the program will turn around, and get back to it's winning ways. May be awhile, but I am confident it will happen again.

I think Hoke is a better choice than Les Miles. Hoke took over a 2-10 SDSU team, and made them competitive while going 4-8 last year. This year SDSU is 9-4. If he isn't hired, it wouldn't surprise me if SDSU beats UM next year (they play each other 09/24).

And that's because this position sets the whole tone for the athletic department. Brandon is saying he wants a defensive minded coach who has experience. While I'm sure he'd jump at Harbaugh, I think he's already been told 'NO'. The next best coach is Hoke. If he passes on Hoke, you guys are screwed for a decade at least. Next up? Basketball coach.

x2 les miles isnt that great of a coach... he was on the chopping board most of this year.
