My wife is a worship leader/singer at her church. They just had a grand opening of their new building, they converted the old AMC theater on Schoenherr and Mound into their new place, it's pretty cool. Anyways, her brother does all of the lighting...he's a big Michigan fan....these are what the lights looked like Sunday:

Love this line.
David Ubben, one of the panelists who covers the Big 12 for ESPN.com, on why he gave Robinson a first-place vote: I was one of the guys who had Kellen Moore above Robinson the entire year. Until this week. Regardless of who Michigan is playing, his production and status as the nation's leading rusher as a quarterback is astounding. If he keeps at this pace and ends up running for 2,000 yards and throwing for 2,000 more, there's no way anyone should be above him, regardless of record. Any time the biggest criticism of a player is, "Well, he might get hurt doing what he's doing," you know you're talking about a special talent.

Last week, the D.C. Board of Elections and Ethics opened a new Internet-based voting system for a weeklong test period, inviting computer experts from all corners to prod its vulnerabilities in the spirit of "give it your best shot." Well, the hackers gave it their best shot -- and midday Friday, the trial period was suspended, with the board citing "usability issues brought to our attention."
Here's one of those issues: After casting a vote, according to test observers, the Web site played "Hail to the Victors" -- the University of Michigan fight song.
"The integrity of the system had been violated," said Paul Stenbjorn, the board's chief technology officer.
Stenbjorn said a Michigan professor whom the board has been working with on the project had "unleashed his students" during the test period, and one succeeded in infiltrating the system.

Michigan QBs start for winning teams on MNF. MSU QBs play 3rd string for the Lions.

Oh and Zolton Mesco just ripped off a 63 yard punt.

Actually, Michigan QBs start for winning AND LOSING teams on MNF AT THE SAME TIME!

Do QBs from the same college face each other very often in the NFL?

Yeah, I know. Look at the time I made that post - my point was they both have/had winning records at the time. Duuuur.

I'm sure there have been other instances, but it doesn't happen too often as far as I can recall.

Yeah, maybe not Leinart so much since he has started very few games for an NFC team, but the other guys all being in the AFC have to have played in some combination if not all three having played one another. It would be a given if Cassel had started at New England last year instead of the year before that he and Sanchez had played.

With all the sack riding that has been going on about U of M's only performing player, they have decided to rename the team the U of M Robinsons. That is all.

I'm not a hater, Robinson is good at what he does. And he is carrying the team. They are ranked, IIRC, 120th in total defense... And 99% of the time, the best defense wins the game ;)

So what you're saying is that you have no idea what you're talking about?

I have been a Michigan fan since I was a kid and went to almost every home game, season after season. I hate seeing UofM lose but I wouldn't bet on them this year. MSU is nothing special this year (hell, they beat ND on a trick play) but the Wolverines defense is beyond terrible.

Either way, the game should have both teams scoring 40-50 points each so it should be excited.
