I want to see someone other than Robinson or shaw touch the ball. It's like Lloyd is making the calls again. 3rd and 45.... Perfect time to run a fb delayed handoff. So far it's been nothing but debate run... Shaw run.

forget the michigan game, and go change our settings for our fantasy league. -10 for int needs to be changed. the league owners demand it :D

:haha: Not so swift always has the worse predictions. Same shit every year. You think he'd learn by now.

Another vote for 4-8. I think it's 50/50 that RichRod gets the axe at the end of the year. If he does get canned, I could see the heavy push for Harbaugh at the end of the year, even with Stanford extending his contract last winter. I'd be a lot more worried as a State fan with Harbaugh as coach than Les Miles. UM could also decide he should get 4 years before sending him packing. Look how long it took to fire Tommy Amaker on the basketball side. New AD so it's hard to tell. If Martin was still there, I'd say RichRod is safe for another year.

Quoted, just so we can see how very wrong you are at the end of the year

They won strongly against a team that some had predicted would win the Big East. You are the quintessential armchair coach.

Denard was 19-22 passing for 186 yards in the air, 1 passing touchdown, no interceptions and ran for 197 yards and another touchdown. That is an INCREDIBLE day.

Yeah, this is just like Lloyd. Is that a negro playing QB???

Fuck that, I don't want anyone other than Denard touching the ball

THIS is what a RR offense should look like. I expected to see it, but it's still exciting to actually see it in action.

D-Rob has the tools and the athletes around him to put up insane numbers.

I congradulate UM on a decisive win over UConn. I didn't get to see too much of it. As for my pics, I wasn't the only person who thought UConn would win. UM started 4-0 last year and fell apart. Don't get too cocky over a single win.

robinson isnt going to rush 23 times for 197yards every game.......robinson wont last all season doing that and with forcier crying on the bench they dont have a legitimate backup QB...michigan will suck this year and rich rod will be fired........one more thing.....GO GREEN!

against a hand-picked patsy......let's not all get in a conga line and hoist dick-rod on our shoulders just yet.......i realize osu beat up on a nobody too, but hell, we expected to win. i know it's been a while, but you um guys need to act like youi've been here before.

good point. the guys not a fucking fullback. looked for a second like he might have a stinger today. he brings that weak shit to the table against osu, they'll need a shovel to scrape him up off the turf.....

After reading the paper today, no one was hailing UM's defense. They say for as good as Robinson was in this game, UConn's QB was bad. That just sounds more of a UConn meltdown than anything UM did. But a win is a win.

By half time, we hadn't seen pretty much anything other than the run game. By the end of the game it had changed. I love what I saw and am excited, but know it's not going to be an easy season.

Keep saying that...Sparty's win over WMU wasn't very convincing. I thought it was going to be be a CMU all over again!

Yeah, for the first quarter...

Spartans defense played very well. And with 21 points in the second quarter and another 7 coming out of the half, the game was done. If there was a problem that MSU needs to address, it's the penalties. Way too many.

I think you'll have better chance to see how decent UM will be against ND next week. They did nothing fancy against Purdue and only had two penalties on specail teams. This will be an interesting game to watch.

A handful of posts since the game....5 from UM haters saying how this was an anomaly....you tell me you aren't scared RR might have gotten his system in place

Any QB could get knocked out at any time. A week ago nobody knew who the starter would be. Now everyone is saying if one guy goes down it's all over.

The only reason the ND game will be a bigger test is because it's on the road. Uconn was a big test.....Big East favorites, a veteran team returning most of it's starters from last year's resilient team that BEAT a better ND team IN South Bend. Beating ND won't show anything, if it happens. It's funny how after the fact...."they must not be that good"

The B10 schedule is where it all happens. They need to win in conference before anyone thinks they are back to any semblance of a top team.

Watching the national news last night and this morning was different. Herbstreit was one of the guys who picked UConn to win, and he said the thing that stood out to him was the athletes on defense. May said something similar when asked if this team looked liked the team that came out 4-0 last year. He basically said no, the defense looked much more focused.

Whatever, take it with a grain of salt. But sometimes good qbs play bad when put under pressure. Guys like Roh and Martin look to be players that can bring that type of pressure. I've got no doubt UM's secondary isn't great, but last year's D woulda given up a few more than 10 points, no matter how "bad" UConn's offense was.
