Total offensive plays: IU-98, UM-45.

The only stat that matters is 42-35.

Total yards - Mich 575, Indiana 568

Michigan was more than double Indiana on yds/play, 13.1 vs. 5.8

Either way no defense on display, gonna have to play ALOT stronger on D to beat MSU

Yeah def didnt have a ton of cameras there, prob because so many other BIG games this weekend.

maybe it's because michigan hasn't played in a big game in years. second tier teams=second rate coverage........probably takes some time for the um folks to wrap their heads around that concept.

So that's what Ohio State got during the 90s?

the 90's is long gone, son.......as in last century, as in the last time michigan even won 1/2 of a national championship......

kinda sounds like a notre dame fan, living that far in the past. surpised you didn't mention fielding yost.....

OSU had its struggles vs. Illinios today lol

And again Hangem shows what kind of education to expect in Ohio. Osu plays the same number of ranked teams that um does. Yet somehow this is an indication that um does not played strong teams, only patsy teams. This further shows that the only hope an osu grad has is to get into the NFL. If they can't do that they can always try to win at scratch off lottery tickets if they can figure put how to scratch it off.

Ryan, Michigan is 5-0 because they haven't played anyone. None of the teams that U-M has played is ranked. MSU is their first test against a real defense. Indiana is part of the Big Ten cellar and the only reason Michigan won is that they had the ball last. And you could make the arguement OSU has the easier schedule. Why? Because OSU doesn't have to play OSU or MSU. And Michigan won't be ranked when they play OSU.

This is where we all find out how much UM has improved. UM won all 4 non-conference games last year as well as beating Indiana. They finished 5-7. They won their 4 non-conference games this year and beat Indiana. Better take advantage of Illinios and Purdue when they get the chance. Not doing so last year cost them a bowl game.

c'mon.......i thought the fielding yost reference was not only funny, but showed a true student of the game, no matter which team i choose as my favorite. after osu, i'm a BIG10 fan.

trust me, i have a ton of respect for um, and msu's programs. they've both put a damper on a perfectly good season at one time or another.

So do you want to compare this year's 5-0 team to last year's 4-0 team? Because it's not even close to the same.....and even that terrible, horrible, pathetic team with a true freshman qb and a shitty defense took MSU to OT in East Lansing.

The defense is still putrid. But the offense isn't going to be stopped. Definitely not by MSU. You better hope you get the ball last and Cousins doesn't make another terrible decision.

What I'm saying is, is that Michigan hasn't beat anyone and that you still don't know if the team (or offense) is really any good. And there are no Delaware States left on your schedule. Does Robinson worry me? Sure. He's the only weapon Michigan has. But to really think this is a better than a middle of the pack team is overly optimistic. Again, who have they played to make you think they can beat somebody? MSU has a far better defense than Indiana, UMass, Bowling Green, ND or UConn. MSU's offense is better than all of them as well.

MSU may have a better over all offense than Indiana, but Indiana posed a greater threat. I think Michigan matches up "better" (not good, but better) with MSU's offense.

Who the hell has State played??? Wisonsin blows. They got outplayed by STEVEN THREAT lead ASU and won by a missed extra point because of a couple of fluke plays. Other than that it was UNLV, Austen Peay, San Jose State.....right......

And you guys beat ND on a trick play, in OT, at home. Nice work.

According to your logic we still won't know if Michigan's offense is any good after this week either. MSU is no different than any of the other "patsies" we've played so far.

And by your logic, UM will kick Iowa's backside with the 'One Trick Pony' offense. Good luck with that. You got your 5 wins. Enjoy...

Where do you get that?

For the record, I like Michigan's depth at qb right now more than most big ten teams.

I think they will score against anyone. I don't see them stopping anyone either.

You know what's funny... The MSU thread is 5 pages. The Michigan thread is 36 pages. Because it doesn't matter what happens, or who wins, MSU still sucks and nobody cares.

The OSU and MSU sappies are so lame, that all they can do is party crash the real thread. If they stuck to their own thread, they would be staring at 4 walls, all alone.
