2000 LS Powered Turbo Saleen build

cant wait to take her for a spin matt, its been a long road leading to this point I cant believe its almost time to drive it !

Love this car!! This is what I was thinking of doing next for a project but not anytime soon. Were you driving around a few weeks ago with the front bumper off in the Sterling Heights area? I saw a car like this going down Goldberg between Canal and 19 mile

It hasnt been out on the street yet in SH, but its been driving around with the bumper off in RO

I take it that its cheaper just to get a car with a rear end that wont break and a decent suspention set up then to modify an f-body?? lol.

This thing looks hot.

Thanks Chunky, me and my buddy were laughing at your plate because there was a cop right next to ya. I'm gonna get ahold of the Dr. this week and get it tuned. I can cruise it because it's dialed in in a few spots, but the tune I'm using is way off all over, you probably saw it stall like 3 times trying to back into a spot at potbelly

Yeah lol the plate gets tons of looks haha.

Can't wait to see yours making passes! Probably my favorite build I've seen in a long time.

just wanted to post up some updates. Wanted to give a big thanks to Diamond Hugo from Diamond Fab, Dr. Phil, Joe Caccia from Downriver Motorsports Wiring, and Greg Powrie for helping me get this thing wrapped up. Diamonds turbo kit fit way better than the one I had originally planned on running from my notchback and gave me room for upgrades if need be. His fab skills are top notch and attention to detail is second to none. Also a Big thanks to Joe (Duke) as his wiring harness fits like a glove and works perfectly. All of the mustangs factory cluster works with the LS computer, ive never seen that in any other swap, hes definitely an electrical wizard. Thanks to Greg also for lending his expertise and getting my brake and fuel systems in place. I didnt want to chance my safety on something i was just learning on, and he set them up in such a simple, logical way that everything on the car is easily accessable. Last but not least, thanks to Dr. Phil for throwing a nice base tune in their while I got the bugs worked out, the motor made very decent power for what it was doing and the drivability is excellent. I put probably 400 miles last year during dream cruise week and it never had an issue on the freeway, racing, or stuck in stop and go traffic. Its streetability is just as good as my daily driver and gas mileage wasnt too bad either.

Anyhow, here are some newer pics. Cant wait to get it dialed in now that its warming up again. itll be nice to have a car to play with this summer, rather than wrenching on.
