1989 Coupe twin turbo

I already hate this car. lol
Pulled the trans out to replace the rear main seal....noticed the oil pan gasket is twisted in the rear and leaking as well. Spent all day in the 95 degree weather pulling apart the turbo kit. Guess now that the engines coming out i gotta do a complete engine bay cleaning and some paint work. damnit! why does every car have to be a project?? LOL Pics to follow.

Engine is out....figured out that she's a tired old engine that was just thrown in there so the previous owner could flip it.
My luck as usual. lol

Stealing my ol' ladies GT40P Explorer motor from her cobra build to stuff in here for now.

(If you're wondering....yes i'm doing this project outside....lol)

Man you got the worst luck! I'd offer to lend a hand if you weren't on the other end of the planet lol.I know you'll get it going though.

Awesome! How did it run before you removed the engine?

As for the paint, I'd attempt to wet sand then polish it. Can't hurt.

gonna give it a shot and see....can't make it any worse. lol

car ran pretty good but blew oil out the pan and rear main under boost. We thought it was due to a bad pcv or possible venting all together but come to find out its boost leaking past the rings and into the pan.

I know what you're thinking but i've seen one of these motors handle 10psi of boost and daily driven with Hyper pistons. (car dyno'd at like 498hp)
