ZL1: Chevrolet Camaro

Haven't seen a price nor an official HP number. I don't want to hear it's 556 bcause the Cadillac is because the SAE standard requires the motor to be tested in the configuration in which it is in that car. Despite the LSA RPO it isn't really the same. The honing with the deck plate and different intake and exhaust routings ought to make a couple HP diffrence anyway I would think.

Gt500 is like a supra: big RWHP, slow ET'S. Here is a road test done by Motor trend on the 750 HP shelby super snake :

" At the 1320 foot marker, the Super Snake clicks off 12.0 seconds flat at 120.1 mph "

Heres a test between the Camaro ss and the gt500.... 130 more hp to the shelby = 29 feet and a tenth faster.

Heres the caddy with the ZL1 motor, 12.3 :

I predict the the 600 hp GT500 will be a half second slower than the 550 hp ZL1.

Ill put 20 bucks on it . :)

Every fucking mod motor needs 100 more hp to go the same speed.

If you read the MM&FF tests of even the older super snake, they get WAY WAY better results than that. They do know how to drive though, motor trend drivers are panty waisted homos.

I'm seriously considering jumping on this new mod motor band wagon next year, so I may take the bet.

Take that bet. The mustang will be lighter and make more power. I bet the 600hp shelby goes deep into the 11's in stock trim.
