WTB R1 or R6 or Honda CBR, hell even maybe a GSXR

So you want to get a Yamaha or Honda because that's more original than a Suzuki? How about a Ducati, Aprilia, Hyosung, Buell, Triumph (something other than the above mentioned three and Kawasaki) if you don't want to see your bike at every stoplight.

Well because I like the looks of the top 3 i guess. Plus, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki are more geared towards the type of bike I want. Those others, excluding Ducati (which are waaaaay out of my price range for one I'd actually ride) aren't really appealing to me. The GSXR looks nice, but seriously, when have you not seen 5 million of them around here? I've not really seen a ton of yamaha's around. seen a few, but not near as many as GSXR's. Honda's are more plentiful too. Just personal preference I guess and what I see.

YAAA BABY!!

So... I bought a bike yesterday. I got it for a great deal and it's a super clean bike!! :) 2005 Yamaha R6. It has 6000 miles on it. Who wants to go riding?!?!??!?!?!?!! :)

5k, nice buy, any thing done besides a slip on??

It was lowered. That's it. Im not a big fan of that slip-on either. So, I just sent out a check for a full Leo Vince, titanium into carbon fiber can. Sick. Can't wait. I also just picked up some flush mount turn signals for the front, so will probably do that this week. For now, I'm just gettin used to it. I'm gonna wait on the exhaust because when you do the full exhaust they recommend you put the power commander on and take it to a dyno to be properly tuned. So, i gotta save up a little more for the PCIII and tune

But this is a lot of fun! Got her up to 135MPH on walnut lake road friday night! FUN FUN!! :)

full exhaust will really wake that thing up. My 600rr with arrow header and 2 bros pipe and pcIII was like a totally diffrent bike and thats just with the pre set arrow map.:)

With the full pipe and Power Commander III you don't have to get it tuned. You can download tunes from Dynojet's website. They have several tunes look for a combination that is the same as your bike.

My PCIII with spray is a "canned tune"

If you bought flush mounts that are LED's they are not going to flash at the correct rate. You will need. one of these. Its $20 from tobefast. I just put one on my R1 its plug and play 2 minute install.

Check out www.tobefast.com. They specialize in R1 and R6 parts they have some sick bikes
